The 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐁𝐁𝐏𝐂𝐱𝟐 programming cable helps you program most of the LISHUI & KT controllers through the 5 pin JULET plug of the display (the display should have 5 pins green female plug as the adapter has the male plug).

It is not compatible with BAFANG displays which are using a male plug.

Pre-requisites

* 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐁𝐁𝐏𝐂𝐱𝟐
* 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐱𝟏, 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐱𝟐 or the 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐱𝟑 controller. Other LISHUI or KT controllers can be compatible as well but you will need the software file to be able to program it on your controller

* Optionally USB-C to USB-A adapter should your computer not have a USB-A port

Note: Only compatible with WINDOWS / PC

How to program your controller?

  1. Download and install the software from bit.ly/DATE-Cx3
  2. Plug the 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐁𝐁𝐏𝐂𝐱𝟐 adapter into the USB A port of your computer and the main harness display cable (in place of the display). If the PC is connected to the wall (220VAC or 110VAC) do NOT connect the charger to the bike battery. The battery itself is NOT relevant if it is turned ON or OFF, but you would want to avoid possible power surges from the wall through your laptop. So at most only either the bike or the laptop should be plugged into the wall but not both. It also could be none of them, and that is alright.
  3. Run LS_Controller_Update.exe and select the appropriate .lsh file you want to write and press WRITE. Wait for the progress bar to complete and you can now close the program and unplug the programming cable. Reconnect the display and start it as normal. Now you can test the newly installed software for a ride!


Note:
The TORQUE software versions only work with a 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐁𝐁𝐱𝟐 TORQUE bottom bracket while the PAS software versions work with your PAS sensor. When you have the 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐱𝟑 controller which has both TORQUE and PAS, use the provided adapter to connect to the PAS sensor 3-pin male yellow plug or remove the adapter to connect directly to the bottom bracket / DATE BBx2 6 pin male plug. The controller always has female pins both for torque: 6 pin black plug and for PAS (via adapter): pin male yellow plug.
